The Michael T. Postolan, PHC, USN Citation

Presented to Michael T. Postolan, PHC, Hancock Photo Lab, USN (Ret)

CITATION:

This award is presented to you for your outstanding contribution of The "Michael T. Postolan Photo Gallery" - a remarkable collection of Hancock imagery, that helps this website and our Crew remember those times more poignantly, for photos are the very best means to keep memories alive. The Yeoman and grantor of this Award finds that such contributions are among the very best and one of the most important aspects of this website.

Aside from Oral History and Sea Stories, life on a Naval Vessel, and more particularly on the "Fighting Hannah" has been best chronicled via personal and Shipboard Photography. Michael Postolan, a member of our Photo Lab Crew, did this job superbly, and his desire to share with the World Wide Community, his tremendous collection of Hancock Images, makes his gift even greater.

Mike, your gift to the USS Hancock CV/CVA-19 Memorial is noteworthy and received with gratitude by the Admin Department, and the Crew at large.

Such addition to the Memorial has helped in making a visit to this website a memorable and rewarding experience for all, and has aided this website in maintaining it's standing as a Premier Naval History Website on the Internet. Because of you and others like you, this Website is working for all of us. Job well done, sailor!
