* Weird, Strang, Diff'rnt Kid? I think I was just 'different' and have always "marched to the beat of a Different Drum" - when the kids were all proxiding their hair to the colors of bright Orange to Mellow Yellow, Being perpetually "Different," I, of course wanted to make my very own and 'unique' fashion statement!

I didn't go about it the right way, however, since I was rather 'ignorant' about the things of the world .

I 'borrowed' some of my older brother's Indian Ink, from his Art Supplies (Yikes!) - and if the use of Indian Ink on one's hair and sensitive scalp could have presented dangerous and possible unhealthy results, I was not yet made privy to it.

I went ahead and blackened my hair and eyebrows, turning my then, very sun-bleached blond mantle to pitch black!

I got the intended result, Yes, but I had no idea that it would have rather bad consequences, for when I tried to wash it out, IT WOULD NOT GO AWAY! I was stuck with pitch black hair for months until it all grew out, and even after it did, I was plagued with months upon months of horrible 'blackheads' so, BEWARE what you use when you wish to follow that "Beat of a Different Drum!!!!
