These photos were taken in more recent times, with the most recent ones at the bottom of the Page. You are free to grab any of these pictures if you would like any...
This was taken in 1991 - I was 48 and looking more like 38. I kept in shape then by hiking up Rib Mountain, a near-by drumlin which was about 1000 feet high, with a steady, upgrade. It was great exercise, both going up and coming down. I fell out of this practice though, and it doesn't take the old body long to turn into an older body. However..
The Human Body is something that, though abused, can come back, even after long disuse, a tribute to its Creator.
The next picture is a close-up of the same time.
As you can see I have my beard, and I think I looked OK in one. What do you think?
However I eventually shaved it off, And though my sister was the one who enticed me to do so, I think maybe I'll grow it back. What do you think? Should I grow it back? Hit the Email Button to let me know...

This Picture was taken while I was yet in Bradenton, with my Great Nephew Spencer Pace. He loves his Uncle. A nice boy, has become like the son I didn't have... We have a great time. Spencer is my sister's grandson.
Spencer's dad, my Nephew, Nathaniel Pace was killed in a tragic auto accident in 2000. It was a very difficult time for all of us. Spencer misses his daddy, as do all of us. His death changed our lives forever.
This is me ten years later (2003), without a beard. I think I was about 59 here. Still feeling and looking well. I try to keep fit, because I feel that's the secret to staying young and vital. I am a proverbial 20 year old inside... Sometimes that's not so good, but thinking young keeps you young.
This picture was taken in Orlando, Florida when I went over to visit a Navy Pal of mine who brought his family down for a Disney Holiday. I was living in Bradenton, FL at the time.
This next picture was taken recenly while still in Bradenton. It was on a Sunday visit to my sister's house in Sarasota. As you can see I have a wonderful, attentive and loving little pet who goes by the name of Kiwi. She likes to "Talk" to me, and you can see here, she is saying, "Come on dad, I want to go home.." (She loves Home - mostly just loves going "Bye-Bye" in the car. It makes no difference where we are going. I'm 61 here, and a "little" out of shape.
Most recently (October, 2004), I moved from Florida to my "Tennessee Mountain Home" where the Kiwi and I can get back into shape; the air is clean, clear, crispy in Fall and Winter, and one can go for long bike rides and walks. Do you want to join Kiwi and me?
This Gallery will continue, and this is the most current picture to date (January 2005)...
Taken on a Cumberland Plateau overlook, not far from Sewanee, Tennessee, a small town, and home of the University of the South.
I live on the Cumberland Plateau - which is a high valley, surrounded by the hills that make up the Plateau. It is very beautiful here, and a wonderful place 'off the beaten track' where one can find a peaceful less hectic life, and a great place to retire.
Here on my 4 acres, I plan on building a nice little cottage and do some gardening, and since it's not very far from Tim's Ford, a large man-made lake of the Tennessee Valley Authority, I can also do some great Bass and pan fish fishing. Not a bad way to end a working career.
And so there you have it for this Gallery presently, but I'm sure I'll add more as time goes by. Hope you enjoyed learning about me and my life. So far, it has been a good one, I can't complain.
The next picture was taken in 2006 on my 4 acries of wooded land in South-Central Tennessee...
