Patriots Point Naval Museum

The USS Yorktown (CV/CVA-10) was the Hancock's sister ship, and is now preserved for all time at Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum, Charleston, S.C. Onboard her and in her hangar bay, can be found a section dedicated to the USS Hancock (CVA-19). Looking at this picture, brings back fond memories of Hancock.. both Essex Class carriers. Just Imagine a number 19 there where 10 greets you from her island structure!
