Welcome to Jake's 'Yankee Station' - U.S.S. Hancock CV/CVA-19 Memorial !

Hello Visitor! I am Jake the Yeoman of this Website. Some of you have voiced a desire to have a good printable picture of the Hancock, so below are several images that may fit your needs. The Pictures shown here are smaller images - the full-size images are suitable to place in a nice frame for Den wall or office, which you can show with pride. Also, we have two poems written by forever shipmates, one of which was written during WWII by LT George "Hector" Rodgers of VF-6, which became the Official Hancock Poem - however during the Vietnam War, LCDR D. Garvey wrote a pretty good personal view of the Hancock, which about everyone who sailed in her felt, but were not as articulate as LCDR Garvey was... You can have either as long as you respect the Copyright of the Poems and do not re-distribute to make money doing so.
