Shipmates, I just received Mail from Tom Wimberly, our USS Hancock CV/CVA-19 Association Membership Chairman, the following update on the Hancock History Book, Second Edition:
As of 20 November 2007:
HANCOCK REVISED HISTORY BOOK. This is the second edition of the history book published by the Association. It’s still available, but I am told there are only about twenty copies (20) remaining. Call Turner Publishing at 270/443-0121 for information. This book is very comprehensive on the World War II history. It would be a great acquisition for someone who had a relative who was a Hancock sailor in World War II.
